Well this is my first attempt at a blog so be kind...Today was a pretty normal (ie boring) day until a girl I used to be really good friends with IM'd me. I was so happy because I hadnt talked to her for about a year. 

So we start chatting about the kids, our guys and just generally catching up. After about 10 minutes she tells me shes sick. Im like ok whats wrong? Long story short she has MS...what do you say to that?  Shes always been so active and outgoing now she can barely walk.  I just want to scream its not fair!!! I mean Nicky is only 26 plus she has three  kids. 

Whats gonna happen when she cant take care of her children much less herself? How will she feel when everyone around her is doing normal things we all take for granted? She wont be able to teach her kids to ride a bike, there will be no pillow fights when putting them to bed, no chasing them through the house just because. And when they get hurt there will be no rushing to them to make it "all better". 

It makes me want to cherish every minute of my life.
